Fall Ready

I saw these pleather pants on the Missguided website and I fell completely in love. I received them, they were perfect, and then it happened: I had an outfit in my head for which I didn't have all the pieces in real life. This, which happens more often that I would like to admit, has been the reason why these gorgeous pants have been in my closet for far too long with a tag on. Yesterday, I decided to put a stop to that crime and force myself to find something in my closet to finally wear them, and I feel like it turned out better than the imaginary outfit that never came to fruition! This outfit is perfect for fall!

I feel like adding a bright color to an otherwise muted down outfit makes the outfit a little bit more modern. Specially when it comes to office wear, the goal is to always dress appropriately without forgetting your age. In other words: we're not trying to dress boring over here.

The Ever So Comfortable Cotton Dress

 

I feel like every closet should have a super comfortable cotton office-appropriate dress. Ideally, the dress should be a solid neutral color so you can make it look like a different dress everytime you wear it. This one is from Amazon and it came with a belt made in the same material as the dress but I feel like it looks better with a real belt!

Hurrication 2021

It seems like 2021 has been the year of life inconveniences and major catastrophic events. For some reason, every single time I have made plans to consistently blog this year, something comes up that makes it nearly impossible to do so. Despite hurricane Ida, please enjoy my brunch outfit I wore during my hurrication.
